TTA RapidKnee surgery
A method used at the clinic to treat cranial cruciate ligament rupture in dogs. It aims to improve joint stability by changing the forces acting when the limb bears weight. The veterinarian selects this method after orthopaedic examination and assessment of imaging. Return to activity follows an individual recovery plan.
Fracture stabilisationSurgical treatment of bone injuries
Treatment aims to restore correct alignment and stability of bone fragments, allowing healing. The type of stabilisation depends on the site and nature of the fracture and the patient’s needs. Follow-up and restricted activity during healing are part of treatment.
Treatment of dislocations and developmental joint diseaseMusculoskeletal surgery
The clinic offers surgical treatment of dislocations and selected congenital and developmental joint conditions. X-rays and CT support diagnosis and planning. Not every lesion requires surgery: management is decided after assessing the patient.
Joint arthrodesisJoint procedures
Arthrodesis is surgical fusion of a joint, considered in selected cases when normal joint function cannot be preserved. The veterinarian discusses indications, the expected loss of movement and rehabilitation individually with the owner.
Surgery for fracture non-unionTreatment of impaired bone healing
These procedures address fractures that have not healed correctly. Treatment depends on the cause of impaired healing and the condition of bone and tissues at the injury site. Assessment includes diagnostic tests and review of previous treatment.
Joint arthroscopyDiagnosis and selected procedures inside a joint
Arthroscopy uses a camera to examine the inside of a joint and carry out selected surgical procedures. Whether it can be used depends on the problem and the joint requiring treatment.
